Some Speculation and Rumors said Michael Dyer will leaving Auburn
The rumors started after two Arkansas State players tweeted about the potential transfer to the fellow FBS school.
Of course, if Dyer did transfer, he would be required to sit out for one season per NCAA transfer rules from on FBS school to another. However, speculation insists that Dyer could apply for a medical hardship to be near his ill family.
The 2010 SEC Freshman All-American Dyer has seemingly been in the dog house after he was suspended for undisclosed reasons for the Chick-fil-A Bowl win against Virginia this past week.

NationalFootballAuthority.com reported early Wednesday that Dyer already had filed paperwork to transfer to Arkansas State, but spokesmen from Auburn and Arkansas State said they are not aware that Dyer had filed paperwork to transfer to the school in Jonesboro, Ark. Auburn’s spokesman said he is not aware of any change in Dyer’s status.“I’m telling you, he has not filed paperwork to do anything,” the Democrat-Gazette’s source said. “If that happens, trust me, I’m sitting beside him.”Last week, two Arkansas State players tweeted that Dyer was transferring to the school, but during his final Chick-fil-A Bowl press conference, Auburn head coach Gene Chizik said he was not aware of those reports.

According to the National Football Authority, Dyer filed his paperwork Wednesday to enroll at Arkansas State, a move that indicates Dyer’s decision has already been made and he’s taken his leave of the Tigers football program in favor of a reunion with Gus Malzahn. Neither of the schools involved in this current situation have responded to requests for comment.
However, a tweet from Matthew Harris of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette suggests that the process is not as far along as has been reported. ”Hearing from a source close to Dyer the #AState transfer paperwork rumor is bunk. Family wants to meet with Chizik at Auburn,” the tweet read.

Dyer obviously is in some trouble with Gene Chizik as he was suspended for the team's bowl game but we will just have to wait and see. In the meantime, feel free to imagine how much carnage Dyer could wreak on opposing Sun Belt defenses.
